Developed model of Boatshed on SketchUp

This is my first final photoshop sketch. It includes my final section view.

This is my second final photoshop sketch. It includes my final plan view.

This is an overall photoshop sketch. It shows/ displays the overall idea of my boat shed.

Below are my final sketches of the boat shed.

This is my boat shed plan.

This is my boat shed section.

This is my boat shed elevation.

This is a side elevation of my boat shed.

This is a perspective sketch of my boat shed.

I realised that my SketchUp model was lacking colour and seemed pretty empty so I decided to add more of myself into my boatshed through the furniture, tiles, colours and my own drawings/paintings. All these things represents my hobbies, nationality and my love for fine arts.

This is an roof elevation as it briefly describes the quantity of the space the boatshed is in.

This side elevation shows the kitchen window plus a Christmas tree and an out-door chair. The Christmas tree was something I recently decided to add to the out side of my boat shed because when I was growing up we had a very tall Christmas tree right out side my bedroom window.

Although my bathroom is very simple, sometimes less is more. I chose the colour scheme: blue and white for the bathroom because being half Portuguese blue tiles are very common in typical Portuguese homes.

The guitar in the bottom right hand corner represents my hobbies as I love: playing the piano, singing and playing the guitar. Its something I do in my spare time and I was inspired to learn to play the guitar as my dad has been playing classical guitar throughout my childhood.

The lantern hanging from the ceiling represents the Indian half of me. I grew up on the West coast of India( a place called Goa) and always went to the beach and something I noticed at most of the beaches in my home town was:in the beach shacks there would be normal bulb lighting but also a lot of lantern lights. Its something that always caught my eye. The pictures behind the lantern are paintings and drawings done by me that have simply been pasted into SketchUp. I enjoy painting and drawing portraits and I would say that portraiture is one of my strengths when it comes to Fine Arts.

The object with the cream and blue cushions is known as a divan. Divans are basically Indian couches/ sofas but with out a back. It doesn't have a back because it can also be used as a bed. This is a unique furniture item that shows a different aspect of my nationality.

Though my boat shed might seem a bit too practice, it has various aspects about me, my nationality and hobbies. All you have to do is take a closer look.

The tiles on the glass dining table shows a traditional Portuguese pattern. I had originally planned to put these tiles on the kitchen wall but it would refuse to work( or maybe I was doing something wrong). I think it looks nice on the table because tiled tables is also a Portuguese tradition. Therefor showing/ describing more of my mixed nationality.
