Sketch up !

Below are some views of my boat shed in the making. The different angles of each picture gives you a variety of perspective.

More sketches

Below are the draft sketches of my boat shed.

This is a rough perspective sketch of my boat shed.

This is a section sketch, looking at the inside of the boat shed from the front of it.

This is a section sketch of the left wall. The front of the boat shed is to the left.

This is a perspective sketch of the back of the right side of the boat shed. It looks very plain because I haven't  got many ideas of how to fill up the space yet.

This is a plan of part of my ceiling. The circles are port holes which are mainly found on ships. When I was a little kid my dad was a chief engineer on a cargo ship so my mum and I would go sailing all around the world with him. I thought it would look interesting plus it tells a bit about my childhood. The glow in the dark stars on the ceiling is something I currently have in my room at home and I love them because they actually give off quite a bit of light and look pretty cool in the dark.

This is a pattern of a Portuguese tile. I plan to try and have some sort of tiled area somewhere in my boat shed, preferably in the kitchen. These Portuguese tiles are very common in my home town.

This is a charcoal drawing of the boat shed door with detail such as: the handles, the locks and the number of the boat shed.

This charcoal drawing shows what the boat shed would look like with natural lighting falling on it.

This is a perspective view of the boat sheds.

This is a more defined perspective sketch of the row of boat sheds.

About me: I am 19, I grew up in a part of India on the West coast to be precise, which was taken over by Portugal. Therefore I am both Indian and Portuguese and Indian as my ancestors are Portuguese and Indian plus my last name is Portuguese. When I was barley 3 or 4 years of age I used to go sailing to various parts of the world with my dad and mum as my dad was a chief engineer. I love drawing, singing, playing the piano and the guitar. Hopefully my boat she is able to portray to others little snippets about me.
